Dublin 1 Drugs Seizure

Two Gardaí from the Dublin Crime Response Team were on active patrols in Dublin 1 yesterday evening when they spotted a large gathering in a residential area.

A number of people fled the area on arrival of the Gardaí. On further inspection, the two Gardaí discovered €2,500 worth of suspected cocaine broken down into separate deal bags and concealed in cement blocks.

In excess of €3,400 in cash and a number of knives were also found and seized by Gardaí.

This seizure is subject to further investigation as part of an ongoing effort to disrupt and dismantle the sale and supply of drugs in the Dublin 1 area.
