Sean O’Casey Mural

We’re delighted to have had the opportunity to work with local artist Fionnuala Halpin to help make the North Inner City a little bit more beautiful! Fionnuala has been working with residents to design a mural for the wall between Summerhill and Seán O’Casey, with a few of the local kids helping out with the design over a couple of workshops.

We canvassed the local residents to see what they might interested in having on their wall, and Fionnuala came back with a gorgeous, bright design of wildlife and greenery for the Seán O’Casey side of the wall.

Thanks so much to Fionnuala for her hard work and creativity, the DCC Housing team for their essential support with this project, and the local residents for their engagement. You can see a mock up of the design below, and we’re excited to see the finished product!
